Biography

TOMRIS AHMAD SHAH focuses her practice on complex corporate and transactional matters. She represents clients in mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, and general corporate matters.

During law school, Tomris served as a staff editor of the UC Irvine Law Review, a UC Irvine International Law Scholar, and a clinical student with the International Justice Clinic, where she focused on privacy law and private surveillance. She also interned at the Federal Communications Commission under Commissioner Geoffrey Starks, where she worked on legal and policy issues involving privacy, data protection, and national security.

Earlier in her career, Tomris worked in federal consulting in Washington, D.C., where she focused on advising the Department of Veterans Affairs on matters involving supply chain policy and related initiatives.
