ARIFA ALI focuses her practice on litigation matters, particularly those relating to data privacy, consumer protection, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence (AI), as well as commercial litigation. Arifa also assists clients in a wide range of corporate transactional matters, including privacy and cybersecurity diligence, contract review, and integration planning for mergers and acquisitions.
While attending Yale Law School, Arifa was a clinic member of the Tech Accountability & Competition Project and president of the Muslim Law Students’ Association. Prior to joining Sidley, she was a legal intern for the American Civil Liberties Union’s Program on Freedom of Religion and Belief.
