Biography
ANITA BALASUBRAMANIAN advises boards and management teams in preparing for and responding to shareholder activism, investor engagement, and contentious corporate governance situations.
Prior to joining Sidley, Anita was a member of the corporate practice group at another global law firm, where she advised public companies and investors in connection with competitive proxy solicitations, consent solicitations, withhold campaigns, and corporate governance matters.
While attending New York University School of Law, Anita served as a staff editor of the New York University Journal of Law & Business.
