Biography

ADRIANA BONES ORTEGA counsels broker-dealers, investment advisers, financial institutions, and public companies on securities enforcement and regulatory matters. Adriana focuses her practice on representing financial institutions and individuals in connection with investigations and enforcement actions brought by the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Financial Regulatory Authority, and other federal and state regulators.

Prior to joining Sidley, Adriana was a legal extern at the American Civil Liberties Women’s Rights Project and interned at an American law firm.

While attending Harvard Law School, Adriana served as co-president of the Harvard Women’s Law Association and president of Harvard Law School Negotiators. Adriana also served as a senior article editor for the Harvard Latino Review, and as a subciter for the Harvard International Law Journal.

Adriana is fluent in Spanish.
