Biography

ROBERT CAPODILUPO focuses his practice on representing clients involved in complex civil and regulatory litigation.

Robert earned his J.D. from Yale Law School, where he served as features and book reviews editor of the Yale Law Journal and was the president of the Yale Federalist Society. In 2023, Robert was awarded the Neale M. Albert Prize for the best student paper in art law. Robert also holds an M.Phil. in economic and social history from Magdalene College, University of Cambridge, and an A.B. magna cum laude in government from Harvard College.

Prior to joining Sidley, Robert served as law clerk to The Honorable Barbara Lagoa of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and The Honorable Roy K. Altman on the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. He also worked as a summer associate at an appellate boutique in Washington, D.C.
