
Biography
JULIA JEAN CITRON focuses her practice on all aspects of corporate restructuring, including bankruptcy court proceedings and representing debtors, creditors, and investors in large and complex restructuring transactions.
While attending University of Virginia School of Law, JJ served as the research and projects editor for the Virginia Journal of International Law and as a research assistant for Dean Leslie Kendrick.
While in law school, JJ was awarded the Mary Claiborne and Roy H. Ritter Prize in September 2023, and the James C. Slaughter Honor Award in May 2024. She was selected to join the Raven Society in October 2022.

Representative Matters
- Prospect Medical Holdings, Inc. (Prospect) and several of its subsidiaries in its Chapter 11 cases in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas. With over US$2.3 billion in outstanding funded debt, Prospect’s Chapter 11 cases are among the largest filed in 2025.
- Plenty Unlimited Texas LLC, an innovative agricultural technology company with a unique indoor vertical farming platform, and certain affiliates in their Chapter 11 cases in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas.
- Jervois Global Limited, an Australia-headquartered global supplier of advanced manufactured cobalt products, in its Chapter 11 cases in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas.
- CareMax Inc., a medical services company, in its Chapter 11 filing in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas.
