
Biography
KAILEY FAIRCHILD earned her J.D., cum laude, from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law in 2025.
While attending law school, Kailey served as the managing articles editor for the Northwestern Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property and as the co-president of OUTLaw, Northwestern’s LGBTQIA+ student association. She was awarded the "Theresa D. Cropper Diversity & Inclusion Award" by her peers upon graduation. Before joining Sidley, Kailey served as a Public Interest Law Initiative (PILI) Fellow at Legal Aid Chicago, where she represented clients in their criminal record expungement and sealing petitions.
Prior to law school, Kailey worked as an art historian and museum educator. She received her B.A. in art history from The Ohio State University, and her M.A. in art history from Southern Methodist University.
