Biography
ANTONIO GUTIERREZ counsels public and private entities, including private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, on mergers, acquisitions, and other complex ventures and financings.
Antonio participated in Sidley’s Pro Bono Fellowship, where he worked with Los Angeles-based Homeboy Industries, providing legal and rehabilitative services to formerly incarcerated and gang-involved members of the Los Angeles community.
During law school, Antonio served as editor-in-chief and editorial director of the Berkeley Journal of Entertainment and Sports Law. He also took part in Berkeley Law’s Domestic Violence Field Placement, externing at Tahirih Justice Center, a legal services organization supporting immigrant survivors of gender-based violence.
