Maseeh Moradi

MASEEH MORADI represents clients in trial courts, appellate courts, and arbitrations across the country. Through his diverse, complex litigation practice, Maseeh has substantial experience drafting pleadings, motions, and appellate briefs, taking depositions and preparing clients for them, drafting written discovery requests and responses, and preparing for trial. In addition to his commercial practice, Maseeh maintains an active pro bono practice and has represented inmates in the United States Supreme Court and other federal courts.

Maseeh graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School, where he served on the executive board of the Harvard Law & Policy Review and spent several semesters working closely with Professor Michael Klarman as a research assistant. Maseeh earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accountancy at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he received a Bronze Tablet award, the University’s highest academic honor for undergraduate students.

Prior to joining Sidley, Maseeh served as a law clerk for the Honorable Jerome A. Holmes on the United States Circuit Court for the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Honorable John Z. Lee on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Maseeh has also worked for United States Senator Sheldon Whitehouse as a legal fellow in the Senate Judiciary Committee.
