Biography
NICK PHILLIPS focuses his practice on private equity and M&A. He has experience representing large-cap and middle-market private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, as well as public companies, in connection with complex transactions, including domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, minority investments, and co-investments.
Prior to joining Sidley, Nick was counsel at another global law firm.

- TowerBrook Capital Partners, L.P. in its strategic investment in Amylu Foods, a manufacturer of all-natural, value-added protein products.
- Global Container International (GCI), a leading lessor of marine intermodal containers, in its acquisition by Triton International Limited, the world’s largest lessor of intermodal freight containers, for a total transaction value of over US$1billion.
