Ram Sachs

RAM SACHS advises boards and management teams in preparing for and responding to shareholder activism, hostile takeovers, and contentious corporate governance situations. His practice also encompasses M&A and other strategic transactions, investor engagement, and general corporate governance matters.

Ram received his J.D. from Yale Law School, where he served as executive editor on the Yale Journal on Regulation. He also holds a B.S. from Stanford University, where he graduated as a member of Phi Beta Kappa.

Ram is a lecturer at Stanford Law School, where he teaches a course on shareholder activism, hostile takeovers, and corporate governance. He has also lectured at Harvard Law School. Ram is a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
