Camille Sanches

CAMILLE SANCHES focuses her practice on complex civil litigation and product liability matters.

At Sidley, Camille has served as a member of multiple trial teams, assisting in preparing witnesses for both state and federal trials and playing a key role in ensuring cases are ready for trial.

In addition to her litigation work, Camille has contributed to several domestic and international white-collar investigations.

Prior to joining Sidley, Camille was an extern for Judge Jackson-Akiwumi in the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Camille graduated from the University of Chicago Law School, where she was the managing editor of the University of Chicago Legal Forum and the professional development chair of the Black Law Students Association.

Camille represents Simon Soto in Soto v. United States, a veterans’ benefits class action. In June 2025, the Supreme Court of the United States unanimously ruled with Mr. Soto.

In July 2025, Camille received the “Thomas H. Morsch Award for Pro Bono Achievement” due to her commitment to pro bono work.

While attending law school, Camille was a member of the Civil Rights and Police Accountability Clinic and was awarded the “Dean’s Certificate of Recognition” for her pro bono work.
