Jackson E. Thompson

JACKSON THOMPSON focuses his practice on commercial litigation and disputes, as well as product liability and mass torts litigation. He has experience working on nationwide multi-district litigation and consolidated proceedings, where he supports the development of litigation strategy. He regularly analyzes the evolving legal landscape for clients, including how emerging Supreme Court precedent, state legislative reform, and federal and state court developments may affect jurisdictional and operational risk. Jackson also assists clients with pre-litigation assessments, risk management, and due diligence, and maintains up-to-date insight on key issues, such as third-party litigation funding, public nuisance doctrine, remote-testimony practices, and trends in MDL procedure.

While attending Georgetown University Law Center, Jackson was a Technology Law and Policy Scholar. He also served as a notes editor for the Georgetown Journal of International Law and worked as a legal intern at Salesforce. Jackson studied abroad at the University of Amsterdam Law School and participated in Georgetown’s Communications and Technology Law Clinic, where he advised clients on potential constitutional implications of emerging technologies.
