Yuhan Wu

YUHAN WU focuses her practice on intellectual property and commercial transactions in the life sciences sector.

Yuhan received her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law. During law school, she served as co-editor in chief of the Berkeley Technology Law Journal. She also completed a judicial externship with the United States District Court for the Central District of California’s Patent Program and an internship with the Intellectual Property & Industrial Relations Alliances (IPIRA) at the University of California, Berkeley. Yuhan was a Berkeley Center for Law and Technology Scholar.

Prior to law school, Yuhan received a B.A. in biological sciences with a minor in economics, and worked as an analyst for an international economic consulting firm.

• Everest Medicines in its exclusive license agreement with Dimerix for the commercialization of a Phase 3 drug candidate across Greater China, South Korea, and Southeast Asia, for a US$10 million upfront payment, up to US$330 million in milestone payments, and tiered royalties.
• GenHouse Bio in its exclusive worldwide license agreement with Gilead Sciences for a MAT2A inhibitor in development for various tumor types, for an US$80 million upfront payment, up to US$1.45 billion in milestones payments, and tiered royalties.
• Argo Biopharma in its multi-asset license and option agreements with Novartis, for a US$160 million upfront payment, up to US$5.2 billion in milestone and option payments, and tiered royalties.
• Evopoint Biosciences in its exclusive license agreement with Astellas for a CLDN18.2-targeting clinical-stage antibody-drug conjugate for solid tumors, valued at up to US$1.34 billion in total deal value.
• RAPT Therapeutics, a California-based, clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company dedicated to developing novel therapies for patients living with inflammatory and immunologic diseases, in its US$2.2 billion acquisition by GSK.
• Capstan Therapeutics, a clinical-stage biotechnology company with a mission to multiply therapeutic possibilities for patients through targeted in vivo RNA technologies, in its US$2.1 billion acquisition by AbbVie.
