Sidley partner and Environmental practice co-leader Justin Savage will serve as a presenter during the upcoming American Fuel and Petrochemical Manufacturers (AFPM) Environmental Conference taking place October 21 – October 22, 2024, in New Orleans, Louisiana. The conference brings together industry professionals in the refining and petrochemical sectors for an event that focuses on the impacts of various environmental regulations and aims to develop compliance solutions for these facilities.
Justin’s session focuses on the EPA’s National Emission Standard for Benzene Waste Operations (BWON) and will discuss new compliance implications for refineries brought about by the 2024 updates to this program, which specifically address prospective issues at petroleum refineries and ethylene plants.
