Brussels Dialogues: Law and Policy at the Heart of the EU

A New Forum for Insightful Debate

Sidley and The Centre of European Law, King’s College London are delighted to invite you to the inaugural edition of Brussels Dialogues, a new series designed to spark candid, high-level conversations on how law and policy intersect at the core of the European Union. In this first edition, we will explore how judicial decisions are redefining the balance of law, policy, and power – across Europe, the United States, and beyond. The session will convene leading policymakers, academics, and practitioners for an engaging exchange of ideas on the evolving transatlantic legal landscape.

Featured Speakers

  • Vittorio Di Bucci, Registrar, General Court of the EU
  • Professor Federico Ortino, Director, Centre for International Governance and Dispute Resolution (CIGAD) and Professor of International Economic Law, King’s College London
  • Jennifer Clark, Partner, U.S. Supreme Court Litigation practice, Sidley (Washington, D.C.)

Guest of Honor
Vittorio Di Bucci was appointed Registrar of the General Court of the European Union in April 2023, following a distinguished career at the European Commission, where he served as Principal Legal Adviser and Director in the Legal Service, leading the State aid and Business law teams.
