From invoking a “national energy emergency” to ease approval of coal and natural-gas infrastructure, to unraveling Obama- and Biden-era regulations and retreating from the Paris Agreement, the White House has prioritized what it calls American Energy Dominance. Simultaneously, tariffs, permitting freezes, and funding suspensions have placed formidable obstacles before renewable developers, leaving industry stakeholders bracing for a future unknown.
