Her Justice has honored Sidley lawyers Estelle Georges-Nason, Vincent J. Margiotta, and Ashley Mullen with the “Legal Team Award” as a part of its 2024 Commitment to Justice Awards. The recognition spotlights teams of pro bono lawyers who work together as an “impressive unit — determined, coordinated, and ahead of the curve — to deliver wins for their clients.” Her Justice stands with women living in poverty in New York City by recruiting and mentoring volunteer lawyers to provide free legal help to address individual and systemic legal barriers. The annual Commitment to Justice Awards celebrate Her Justice’s pro bono partners who have done “outstanding work” to help clients achieve results from the civil justice system.
