Sidley has been recognized by India Business Law Journal (IBLJ) as a 2025 “Top Foreign Law Firm,” featuring on the list for the eighth consecutive year. As a “Top 15” firm, Sidley has been acknowledged as among the leading foreign law firms for India-related work.
IBLJ has specifically highlighted Sidley’s capital markets strength, citing matters including the firm’s counsel to the underwriters on Vodafone Idea’s US$2.2 billion follow-on public offering (FPO), the largest FPO by an Indian issuer to date, and role on Vishal Mega Mart’s US$945 million IPO.
The annual report, now in its 19th edition, draws on analysis of more than 600 law firms globally and consultation with India-focused corporate counsel and partners at Indian law firms to identify the leading foreign law firms for India-related work.
