Sidley Honored by KIND With “2025 Pro Bono Team of the Year Award”

Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) honored the Sidley team of Lise B. Adams, Ellie L. DeGarmo, Kelly J. Huggins, and Meghan F. Weinberg with the “2025 Pro Bono Team of the Year Award.” The award recognizes the team’s “exceptional contributions to KIND cases.”

Founded by Microsoft and UNHCR Special Envoy Angelina Jolie, KIND is a non-profit organization that provides pro bono legal representation and social services for refugee and migrant children in the U.S., Mexico, Central America, and Europe.

Sidley has cultivated and maintained a long-standing tradition of providing pro bono legal services. Each year, Sidley business professionals and lawyers dedicate more than 150,000 hours firmwide to a variety of pro bono cases, including many immigration and asylum matters.
