Sidley Shortlisted at the GRR Awards 2025

Sidley has been shortlisted in three categories by Global Restructuring Review at its 2025 GRR Awards, including for the “Pioneering Spirit Award,” which celebrates “a bold or unprecedented move led by a firm within a restructuring or insolvency.”

Sidley has been shortlisted in the following categories:

• Asia Practice of the Year
• Debtor-side Law Firm of the Year
• Pioneering Spirit Award

The firm has been shortlisted in the “Pioneering Spirit Award” for its counsel to Sino Ocean in the first ever “cram across,” where Hong Kong-governed debt was used to cram down English law-governed debt through twin Part 26A and Hong Kong schemes.

Winners will be recognized at an awards ceremony in London on November 20, 2025.
