Sidley Advises Fortitude Re on Acquisition of Plans’ Liability Insurance Company

Sidley represented Fortitude Re, Bermuda’s largest multi-line reinsurer, in its acquisition of Plans’ Liability Insurance Company, a widely-licensed Ohio-domiciled property and casualty insurer. The acquisition enhances Fortitude Re’s transactional flexibility and structural solutions in the property and casualty legacy insurance liabilities space.
