Sidley Represents Vehicle Accessories in Its Acquisition of Maxton Group

Sidley is representing Vehicle Accessories, Inc. (“VAI”), a portfolio company of Kinderhook Industries, LLC (“Kinderhook”), in its acquisition of Maxton Group, Inc., a designer and producer of automotive products and accessories to automotive original equipment manufacturers. The deal represents the eighth add-on acquisition for VAI and Kinderhook’s 201st automotive-related transaction. VAI is an integrated manufacturer of protective door edge guards, all-weather floor mats, splash guards, body side moldings, and other related products for the automotive industry.

The Sidley team is being led by Elazar Guttman, Mo Green, and John Torabi (M&A and Private Equity), and includes Tara M. Lancaster and Andrew B. Smith (Tax).
