Sidley Advises Forward Industries on Redomiciliation to Texas
March 6, 2026
Sidley is representing Forward Industries in connection with its redomiciliation to Texas. Forward Industries will become the first digital asset treasury company to move its domicile to the state.
The company’s decision to move was driven by Texas’ innovative approach to corporate law and business friendly mindset, as well as Texas’ public support for blockchain and crypto innovation.
With the move, Forward Industries joins a broader trend of public companies moving their domicile to Texas.
The Sidley team was led by partners Bill Howell (M&A) and Lilya Tessler (FinTech and Blockchain) and included managing associate Molly Homann (M&A).
