Sidley Represents Circuit of The Americas in Strategic Partnership With Carlyle

Sidley represented Circuit of The Americas (COTA) in its strategic partnership with Carlyle’s Global Credit platform. Under the partnership, Carlyle will provide capital to support COTA’s next phase of growth, including accelerating the opening of COTALAND and funding additional destination experiences, such as a planned water park and, longer term, an on-premises resort.

COTA, home of the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix, is the first and only purpose-built Formula 1 circuit in the United States and home to MotoGP, NASCAR, FIA World Endurance Championship, and major concerts and events throughout the year. Since hosting its first Formula 1 Grand Prix race, COTA has grown into a year-round sports and entertainment destination.

The deal team was led by Demetrius Warrick, Evie Whiting, and Charles Baker, and included Ethan McMahon, Sidne Norman, Tori Spencer, and Sophie Arkusinski.
