PANOS APOSTOLIDIS focuses on capital markets transactions and U.S. securities laws matters. He advises private equity sponsors, corporate issuers, and credit institutions across a range of financing transactions, including high yield bonds offerings under Rule 144A, Regulation S, and other private placement transactions, as well as equity offerings. Prior to joining Sidley, Panos was an associate at a leading U.S. firm in London.

Panos recent experience includes advising:

• A private equity-owned global market research and data analytics company in its issuance of senior secured notes.
• A multi-national lottery operator with market-leading presence in its high yield bond offering.
• A financial data and software company across multiple bond offerings and financing transactions.
• A leading British automotive manufacturer in connection with its high yield bond offering.
• The initial purchasers in connection with the establishment of and drawdown under a Medium Term Note Program for one of the world’s largest integrated energy and chemicals companies.
• The initial purchasers in connection with a bond offering for a European hotel owner and operator.
• An ad hoc group of bondholders in connection with the consensual refinancing of a leading facility management company.
• A governmental special purpose vehicle created for the privatization of state-owned assets in Greece on the divestments of its stake in a systemic bank.
• A manufacturer of commercial refrigeration equipment and glass producer on its consensual recapitalization and restructuring of the group.
