GISELLE M. BARTH is a partner in the New York office. Her practice focuses on structured finance, including registered and private term securitizations in single family rental transactions (single-asset and multi-borrower), traditional asset classes such as ABS (auto loan and lease and equipment) and mortgage-backed securitizations (RMBS and CMBS) and CRE CLOs. Her practice also includes a variety of asset-based lending arrangements, including repurchase agreements. She advises credit opportunity funds and other investors in distressed and other structured finance transactions, particularly with respect to rights and remedies under the related transaction documents.
Giselle’s practice also includes advice to clients on new and proposed legislative and regulatory changes.
Giselle is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and continuing legal education programs on topics relating to structured finance and has authored numerous client updates on legislative and regulatory reforms and proposals. She has been recognized for her work in Capital Markets: Securitisation in Chambers Global (2018–2022) and Chambers USA (2012–2022).
