
Biography
JULIEN BLANCHARD focuses his practice on energy, transportation, and infrastructure project finance, tax equity finance, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures, and other complex corporate and transactional matters within the renewable energy space.
Prior to joining Sidley, Julien was a legal intern at The State Energy & Environmental Impact Center at NYU School of Law and a legal assistant at the Eastern Environmental Law Center.
While attending Columbia Law School, Julien was named a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar in 2022-2023. He also served as director of the Columbia Law Revue, the law school’s premiere performing arts and comedy group.
