GINA BOHANNON focuses her practice on complex litigation matters in state and federal trial courts and arbitrations. She has experience in drafting pleadings, all phases of discovery including depositions and expert discovery, motions practice, and trial. Gina has also advised clients responding to government investigations and conducting internal investigations.
Gina serves as a trusted advisor to clients across a broad range of industries, including pharmaceuticals, consumer products, and professional and financial services.
Gina graduated first in her class from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law. While in law school, she served as editor in chief of the Maryland Law Review and interned at the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Maryland. Gina earned her B.S. at the United States Military Academy at West Point. Prior to law school, she served as an engineer officer in the United States Army, obtaining the rank of Captain. Her military decorations include the Combat Action Badge and Parachutist Badge.
Before joining Sidley, Gina served as a law clerk to the Honorable Stephanie A. Gallagher of the United States District Court for the District of Maryland.
