ANDREW BROWN focuses his practice on complex business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, and corporate governance matters.
Prior to joining Sidley, Andrew earned his J.D., cum laude, from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law. While in law school, he served as a managing editor for the Indiana Law Journal, worked as a research assistant to Professor Aneil Kovvali, and worked as a fellow for the Elmore Entrepreneurship Law Clinic. Andrew also served as a judicial extern for Chief Judge Robert R. Altice Jr. on the Indiana Court of Appeals.
Prior to law school, Andrew worked on international economic development matters for the State of Indiana under Indiana Secretary of Commerce James A. Schellinger, Jr. Andrew earned his B.A., cum laude, in philosophy, politics, and economics with a minor in Chinese from the University of Pennsylvania.
