Biography

KRISTINA GLIKLAD defends clients in complex commercial disputes involving business torts and fraud, contracts, antitrust, and unfair competition.

Prior to joining Sidley, Kristina clerked for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. She has experience in private and government litigation, investigations, mergers, and antitrust counseling.

While in law school, Kristina was the managing editor of the Washington University Law Review and was a teaching assistant for antitrust law courses. Kristina externed with the Antitrust Bureau at the New York State Office of the Attorney General, assisting with the investigation leading up to State of New York et al. v. Deutsche Telekom AG et al. (T-Mobile/Sprint Merger). In 2019, Kristina received the NYSBA “Antitrust Law Section: Student Writing Competition” award. Prior to law school, she was a teaching assistant for Advanced Trial Advocacy courses at Columbia University.

Kristina is fluent in English, French, and Russian.

  • Defense of residential real estate company in consolidated antitrust class actions related to algorithmic revenue management software (In re RealPage Rental Software Antitrust Litigation (M.D. Tenn.)).
  • Defense of major technology company in cross-border antitrust actions.*
  • A global animal health company in international commercial arbitration.*

Advisory and Regulatory Work

  • State Attorney General investigation into alleged antitrust violations.
  • Merger review counseling and advocacy before U.S. antitrust agencies related to health insurance and wholesale grocery industries.*
  • Antitrust counseling on pricing and distribution policies in chemical manufacturing industry.*
  • Counseling on competition risks associated with patent assertion and aggregation.*
