Biography
ELLEN HUNTER advises clients on a wide range of corporate and securities issues including mergers and acquisitions involving public and private entities, capital markets transactions, asset acquisitions and dispositions, and corporate governance. She has worked with financial and strategic buyers and sellers in the technology, healthcare, life sciences, media, and food and beverage industries.
Ellen regularly represents companies in cross-border M&A transactions. She has represented public companies on a range of securities law matters, including SEC periodic reporting obligations, proxy disclosures, stock exchange requirements, and corporate governance matters. Ellen earned her J.D. from Vanderbilt Law School and was a member of the Vanderbilt Law Review. She received her B.A. in economics and M.A. in the humanities from Stanford University.
