SIEGFRIED P. KNOPF is senior counsel in the firm’s New York office where he concentrates on structured finance, asset based financing and structured products. He has extensive experience in public offerings and private placements of asset backed securities and other securitized or structured securities. He has worked on a wide range of complex structured finance transactions in both the U.S. and international markets, involving securitization and other financing methods, and involving asset types such as mortgage loans, vehicle loans and leases, corporate and commercial debt obligations, equipment leases, student loans, and trade receivables.
Mr. Knopf writes and lectures on the legal aspects of structured finance, including the SEC’s revisions to Regulation AB and other securitization reform efforts.
