Biography

SILAS LEE focuses his practice on representing clients in corporate and commercial matters, including M&A, private equity, corporate governance, and shareholder activism and corporate defense.

Prior to joining Sidley, Silas was a corporate associate at another global law firm in Toronto, where he represented clients in M&A and private equity transactions as well as corporate governance and shareholder activism mandates, with experience in special situations on both activist-side and company-side representations.

While attending Osgoode Hall Law School, Silas served as a staff writer of the Obiter Dicta. He completed his undergraduate degree at Brandon University, where he graduated ranking first in his class and was selected by the faculty to receive the Gold Medal in Business Administration.
