Biography

KELSEY MCKECHNIE’s practice focuses on energy and infrastructure matters.

Kelsey obtained her J.D. from Texas A&M University School of Law where she graduated with honors, was on the Dean’s list, and named a member of the Order of the Coif. During law school, Kelsey served as a staff editor of the Texas A&M Law Review.

Prior to law school, Kelsey worked in the engineering and construction sectors with previous experience in technology consulting for a big four consulting firm.

  • Amberjack Capital Partners and its portfolio company Entegra, a premium technology company specializing in ultra-high-resolution magnetic flux leakage in-line inspection services, in its acquisition by NDT Global, a leading provider of advanced diagnostic inspection and integrity solutions for the energy sector.
  • Cal-Maine Foods, Inc. (NASDAQ: CALM), the largest producer and distributor of fresh shell eggs in the United States, in an underwritten public offering of 2,978,740 shares of its common stock by family members of Cal-Maine’s late founder, Fred R. Adams, Jr., at a public offering price of US$92.75 per share, and in a concurrent repurchase from the selling stockholders by Cal-Maine of approximately US$50 million of its common stock.
  • Cal-Maine Foods, Inc. (NASDAQ: CALM), the largest producer and distributor of fresh shell eggs in the United States, in its US$258 million acquisition of Echo Lake Foods, a frozen food manufacturer of ready-to-eat egg products and other breakfast foods.
  • A private equity fund in its acquisition of specialty industrial heat-treating assets.
  • Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners in its equity commitment with Longview Infrastructure, a newly formed electric transmission development and investment platform.
  • OCI Energy, a clean energy developer based in San Antonio, Texas, in a joint venture with Arava Power, an Israeli solar energy company, to develop Project SunRoper, a 260-MW solar project in Wharton County, Texas.
  • Stonepeak in its acquisition of Fleet Companies, a leading regional trailer dealership and leasing company.
