
Biography
IAN PITT focuses his practice on commercial finance transactions. With experience in both in-house and private-practice environments, he brings a practical understanding of how strategic financing decisions align with broader business objectives. Ian delivers commercially informed counsel to help clients structure and execute transactions that meet their capital needs.
Ian has experience supporting clients across a range of financing matters, including syndicated credit facilities, leveraged financings, and acquisition financings. He also assists in drafting and reviewing a variety of loan, collateral, and security documents.
Ian graduated, magna cum laude, from The Ohio State University Michael E. Moritz College of Law, where he earned 10 CALI awards and was elected to the Order of the Coif. During law school, he served as a managing editor for the Ohio State Law Journal, worked as a student lawyer in the Entrepreneurial Business Law Clinic, and completed a legal externship at Abercrombie & Fitch’s Global Home Office.
