MARK PRIEBE focuses his practice on complex civil litigation disputes and government enforcement actions. Mark has represented clients across a variety of industries, including financial services, healthcare, insurance, and financial accounting. Mark also maintains an active pro bono practice, including asylum and veterans advocacy cases.
Mark advises clients at all stages of the litigation process. At the appellate level, Mark has substantive experience drafting merits briefs and arguing in federal appellate court. At the trial court level, Mark has substantive experience drafting dispositive motions, preparing witnesses for depositions, and resolving complex discovery disputes. He has also played key roles in the development of litigation strategy at both the appellate and trial court level.
Prior to joining Sidley, Mark served as a law clerk to The Honorable David J. Porter of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and The Honorable Rebecca Bradley of the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Mark graduated cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School, where he served as senior editor of the Michigan Law Review. He also received a Master of Public Policy degree from the University of Michigan Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy.
