
Biography
JOSHUA RIM focuses his practice on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, equity financings, and corporate governance matters.
Prior to joining Sidley, Joshua was a corporate associate at a leading Canadian national law firm.
Joshua obtained his J.D. from Queen’s University and his B.Comm with Distinction from the University of Calgary.

- Soho House & Co Inc. in its definitive agreements pursuant to which an investor group led by MCR, and its chairman and CEO Tyler Morse will acquire the outstanding shares of Soho House not held by certain significant shareholders.
- Xignux, a Monterrey, Mexico-based leader in the energy and food industries, in the $5.28 billion sale of its stake in Prolec GE to GE Vernova.
- Funds managed by Apollo Global Management, Inc. on the acquisition of Evri, one of the UK’s largest parcel delivery companies, from Advent International.
- Wafra Inc. in its minority investment in Ardian, a world-leading private investment firm.
- TowerBrook Capital Partners in its strategic investment in Amylu Foods, a manufacturer of all-natural, value-added protein products.
- TowerBrook Capital Partners in its majority equity investment in Demakes Enterprises, LLC.
- RelaDyne LLC, a portfolio company of American Industrial Partners, in its acquisition of Sun Coast Resources, Inc
- Compactor Rentals of America, a portfolio company of Kinderhook Industries, LLC, in its acquisition of Pak-Rite Rentals, LLC.
- Achieve Partners in its acquisition of Wise Music Group's Digital Education division.
- Anthelion Capital Holdings (formerly known as Cowen Sustainable Investments), in the acquisition of the energy business unit of integrated electric bus and commercial vehicle power train manufacturer Proterra Inc.
