Joshua J. Rim

JOSHUA RIM focuses his practice on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, equity financings, and corporate governance matters.

Prior to joining Sidley, Joshua was a corporate associate at a leading Canadian national law firm.

Joshua obtained his J.D. from Queen’s University and his B.Comm with Distinction from the University of Calgary.

• Wafra Inc. in its minority investment in Ardian, a world-leading private investment firm.
• TowerBrook Capital Partners in its strategic investment in Amylu Foods, a manufacturer of all-natural, value-added protein products.
• TowerBrook Capital Partners in its majority equity investment in Demakes Enterprises, LLC.
• RelaDyne LLC, a portfolio company of American Industrial Partners, in its acquisition of Sun Coast Resources, Inc
• Compactor Rentals of America, a portfolio company of Kinderhook Industries, LLC, in its acquisition of Pak-Rite Rentals, LLC.
• Achieve Partners in its acquisition of Wise Music Group's Digital Education division.
• Anthelion Capital Holdings (formerly known as Cowen Sustainable Investments), in the acquisition of the energy business unit of integrated electric bus and commercial vehicle power train manufacturer Proterra Inc.
• Rogers Corporation in its settlement agreement with Starboard Value L.P.
