
Biography
ALEXANDROS ROUSSOS practices in the Global Finance group in the firm’s New York office. He represents issuers and underwriters in SEC-registered and private securitizations, with a focus on commercial mortgage-backed (CMBS) transactions.
Prior to joining Sidley, Alexandros practiced in the capital markets group of a major law firm in Athens, Greece, and in the banking & finance group of a top-tier offshore law firm in Jersey, Channel Islands.
Alexandros received his LL.M. from Columbia Law School (Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar), where he served as a founding member of the board of the Columbia European Law Association. He also holds a Master’s degree from the University of Paris I Pantheon-Sorbonne and an LL.B. from the School of Law of the University of Athens.
Alexandros is a native Greek speaker.
