Biography

MICHAEL ROWLEY focuses his practice on commercial litigation and disputes. Prior to joining Sidley, Michael was a Public Interest Law Initiative (PILI) Graduate Fellow at the North Suburban Legal Aid Clinic.

Michael graduated magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame Law School. Prior to law school, Michael served as an intelligence analyst at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). He investigated violent crime, gang activity, and narcotics trafficking while working at the Baltimore field office and also worked at the FBI headquarters in the Counterterrorism Division. Michael graduated first in his class from the FBI Academy at Quantico.

Michael earned an M.A. from Georgetown University in security studies, and a B.A. in political science and Arabic from the University of Notre Dame.

Representative Matters

  • Represented Monsanto as part of a winning trial team in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas in a jury trial involving allegations that Monsanto’s weedkiller, Roundup, caused the plaintiff’s cancer.
