AJ SAN DIEGO focuses his practice on complex business transactions in the field of M&A.
AJ earned his J.D. and a certificate in business law from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, where he served as the chief symposium editor of Volume 30 of the Asian American Law Journal. Prior to joining Sidley, AJ served as a law clerk with the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office where he worked in the Post-Convictions Unit. Before his return to Sidley after his 2L summer, he participated in Sidley’s Pro Bono Fellowship as a Legal Fellow for the Asian Law Caucus, where he assisted low-income, non-English-speaking employees in the Workers’ Rights Clinic.
AJ earned his B.A. in environmental studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
