JOHANNA SELBERG advises both issuers and underwriters on international corporate finance transactions, liability management transactions, and U.S. securities regulation. With a particular focus on high-yield debt capital markets transactions, she has substantial experience with complex cross-border financing arrangements.
Johanna is recommended by Legal 500 UK for her work in the High Yield practice area (2027).
She is fluent in German.

Representative examples of Johanna’s work include advising:
- ADVANZ PHARMA, a Nordic Capital portfolio company, in connection with the issuance of €917 million (equivalent) in new euro- and pound sterling-denominated senior secured notes and the borrowing of a €165 million term loan B facility.
- A major UK-based oil and gas company in connection with its US$750 million senior notes financing.
- MLP Group in connection with its inaugural issuance of €300 million senior green notes.
- Hellman & Friedman and Verisure in connection with Verisure’s issuance of €525 million senior secured notes.
- The initial purchasers in connection with the issuance of US$960 million senior secured notes and £400 million senior secured notes by a British luxury automotive manufacturer, as well as the notes purchasers in connection with the issuer’s two private placement follow-on offerings.
- An international hydrocarbon exploration and production company in connection with its US$750 million senior secured notes offering.
- The syndicate of initial purchasers and the note purchasers in the notes offering, concurrent tender offer, and private placement follow-on offering totaling approximately US$1 billion (equivalent) by a leading petrochemicals producer.
- The notes purchasers in connection with a £310 million senior secured notes private placement tap by a private equity-owned mobility retailer.
- The notes purchasers in a private placement follow-on offering of €100 million senior secured notes by a private equity-owned IT service management company.
- The initial purchasers in connection with the US$1.8 billion (equivalent) notes offering and concurrent tender offer by one of the world’s largest chemicals companies.
- The initial purchasers in connection with the issuance of US$500 million second lien notes and concurrent US$75 million tap offering by an offshore drilling contractor.
