Biography
ANASTASIA SHEYNDLINA advises issuers, underwriters, and selling shareholders/sponsors on a wide range of international debt and equity capital markets transactions, as well as in connection with ongoing reporting and general corporate matters. Anastasia’s experience spans a variety of jurisdictions, with a particular focus on Central and Eastern Europe, the CIS, and the Middle East.
Prior to joining Sidley, Anastasia worked as in-house counsel at a major global investment bank, where she covered a full spectrum of debt and equity capital markets transactions across the EMEA region.

- Underwriters in relation to a US$300 million AT1 bond offering by a leading Georgian financial institution.
- Underwriters in relation to a US$2.1 billion dual tranche Rule 144/Reg S bond offering and concurrent tender offer by a sovereign issuer from the African region.
- Underwriters in relation to the issue of a €400 million non-dilutive convertible bond by a European investment company.
- Underwriters in relation to a US$2 billion bond offering by one of Israel’s largest banks.
- Underwriters in relation to a €150 million tap of non-dilutive convertible bonds by a European company operating in the concessions, energy services, and construction sectors.
- Underwriters in relation to multiple medium-term note program updates and drawdowns and repeat investment-grade offerings by frequent issuers, including a number of European banks and consumer goods companies.
- A major CIS bank as issuer on several Eurobond issuances and liability management transactions.
- Underwriters in relation to a €3 billion primary equity raise through an accelerated bookbuilding (ABB) by a European multinational utility company.
- Underwriters in relation to multiple secondary ABB transactions with shares of companies across Continental Europe, the Nordics, and the Middle East.
- A leading Kazakhstan-based payments, marketplace and fintech platform on its US$6.5 billion dual-listed initial public offering (IPO) on the London Stock Exchange and Astana International Exchange.
- Underwriters on the US$2 billion IPO of a major CIS value retailer on the London Stock Exchange.
