Biography
ELINA SIGAL focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions and private equity.
Prior to joining Sidley, Elina worked at another global law firm, where she represented private equity sponsors and strategic clients in diverse transactions and corporate governance matters, including domestic and cross-border M&A deals.
Elina obtained her J.D. from New York University School of Law. While attending NYU Law, Elina served as an editor for the Annual Survey of American Law.

Representative Matters
- Ancala, an independent infrastructure manager, in its acquisition of a portfolio of pipeline-connected sites and storage facilities for the production, storage, and transportation of critical chemical intermediates from Hexion, an American Securities portfolio company.
- Spire Inc. in its US$2.48 billion acquisition of the Piedmont Natural Gas’ local distribution company business in Tennessee (pending).
