CARLA TEODORO is counsel in the Investment Funds practice in the New York office, with extensive knowledge of the registration and exemptive provisions of the Investment Company Act of 1940. She frequently consults on Investment Company Act status questions for global holding companies, U.S. and non-U.S. banking entities and other types of enterprises, particularly in connection with various types of securities offerings, bank financings and regulatory restructurings. She has also worked on a variety of transactions—as fund, investor or underwriters’ counsel—involving mutual funds, closed-end investment companies and private funds, including initial public offerings, debt offerings, secondary transfers, asset acquisitions and mergers.
