BETHANY WISE advises on a wide range of EU and UK competition law issues, including merger control, abuse of dominance, cartels, and compliance. She also has litigation experience before the United Kingdom Supreme Court in high-value follow-on damages proceedings relating to competition law.

- A multinational tech company in relation to a number of ongoing investigations by the European Commission and national competition authorities into Google's ad tech practices.
- Viterra, a global marketer of agricultural commodities, in its acquisition of the grains and ingredients business of Gavilon from Marubeni Corporation for US$1.13 billion.
- Gallagher, a global insurance brokerage, risk management, and consulting services firm, in its acquisition of the treaty reinsurance brokerage operations of Willis Towers Watson for US$3.25 billion.
- KKR on its investment in Ornikar, a European provider of road safety education.
Bethany is a member of the London Office Pro Bono Committee. In 2020, she was awarded the 2020 Sidley London Prize for Pro Bono Services. In 2022, she achieved 'Highly Commended' in the 2022 LawWorks Pro Bono Awards.
