Biography
DYLAN YAN focuses his practice on all aspects of corporate restructuring, including bankruptcy court proceedings, out-of-court workouts, and bankruptcy-related litigation. Dylan represents debtors, creditors, and investors in large and complex restructuring transactions.
While attending McGill University’s Faculty of Law, Dylan served as an editor of the McGill Journal of Law & Health and the McGill Journal of Sustainable Development Law. He received the Elizabeth Carmichael Monk Prize in 2024 and was named to the Dean’s List upon graduation.

Representative Matters
- Vi-Jon, LLC, an American personal care company and the oldest private label manufacturer in the United States, in its prearranged Chapter 11 bankruptcy case in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
- Prospect Medical Holdings, Inc. and several of its subsidiaries in the successful Chapter 11 restructuring of over US$2.3 billion in funded debt in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas.
