Project Description
At Seeding Labs, we know that science transforms lives, But, because resources for science are concentrated in just a few countries of the world, most of the world does not benefit from science. Seeding Labs envisions a more equitable world where scientists everywhere are equipped to lead the way to a brighter and healthier future for all. We increase access to resources for science in developing countries. Through our Instrumental Access program, we provide universities and research institutes with laboratory equipment and supplies that catalyze their efforts to increase the STEM-based workforce, provide evidence-based solutions, and strengthen the sustainability of local science institutions. Catalyzing locally led science has enabled countries to strengthen and activate their local systems that support the well-being of their communities. Over the past 15+ years, we have supported over 120 universities and research institutions in 42 developing countries with laboratory equipment. https://seedinglabs.org
