Listen in as Sidley Partner Hardy Callcott and a panel of law professors and practitioners discuss the impact of technological innovations on capital markets in this webinar entitled “Predictive Data Analytics and the Law.” This event is part of the Berkeley Boosts series of webinars that is hosted by Berkeley Law Executive Education. Panelists will describe the rules proposed by the SEC regarding the use of predictive data analytics by broker-dealers and investment advisers, and they will explore the range of responsive comments, including recent recommendations from the SEC Investor Advisory Committee's Disclosure Subcommittee. They will consider the ways in which the proposed rules could impact technology and investor access and choice.
Hardy Callcott is based in Sidley's San Francisco office and concentrates his practice on enforcement defense and regulatory counseling concerning securities market and regulatory issues for broker-dealers, investment advisers, mutual funds, and others in the financial services industry. He provides securities enforcement defense before the SEC, Department of Justice, FINRA and other SRO and state regulators for members of financial services industry, public companies and officers and directors. He also conducts internal investigations.
