Private Fund Adviser Rules Playbook

In the summer of 2023, the SEC adopted sweeping changes to rules that apply to private fund advisers – the Private Fund Adviser Rules. These rules will soon require significant changes to private fund adviser practices and investor reporting. The Sidley Investment Funds Group has developed the “Private Fund Adviser Rules Playbook.” The playbook is an electronic resource designed to help you better understand the basics of the rules without having to parse the 656 page adopting rule release. It will also provide a framework for you to use as you think through how to operationalize compliance with this massive new set of rules.
